Biography
Attorney Alex Herman has extensive experience and expertise in advising and representing clients involved in construction disputes, including contractors, subcontractors, owners, developers, and design professionals. His reputation as a skilled and dependable advocate has earned him the distinction of Minnesota Super Lawyers Rising Star in Construction Litigation since 2022.
Alex has a history of success representing clients in various industries, including construction, real estate, finance, insurance, hospitality, telecom, sports, and retail.
Alex is committed to understanding his clients and their goals. He approaches each case with his client’s unique needs in mind, employing his knowledge and creativity to develop pragmatic solutions and innovative strategies to meet the client’s objectives.
Alex earned his J.D. in 2016 from the University of Minnesota Law School, where he was Captain and Vice President of the Fighting Mondales ice hockey team, an editor of the Minnesota Law Review, and the winner of the “best brief” award in his legal writing class. He received a B.A. in political science from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2012.
A lifelong hockey player, Alex officiates youth ice hockey in Minnesota District 3. He also enjoys improv comedy, live theater, film, and Buffalo Bills football.
